Toni "El Fenicio" will join us again in JANUARY 2018 for a new series of "regular classes". Until then, how better to start the New Year in a joyous and festive way than "Tangos" for the beginners and "Buleria de Jerez" for the more advanced students.
Laura Onizuka, bailaora and flamenco teacher in Portland OR, best defined this wonderful dance:
"Bulerías is a fiesta-style dance from Jerez de la Frontera, Spain. It is the most improvisational form of flamenco and probably the silliest as well. It is what we see at parties and at the end of flamenco shows. It is a dance from the pueblo for ALL people to do, not just 'dancers.' In fact, some of my favorite people to watch doing this dance are townspeople who do it just for fun, not professionally".
There will be 3 levels :
-Beginners level: For those who don't have any experience of flamenco or had a few hours long time ago :) and want to begin from scratch,
-Level 1 for those who have some experience in flamenco, and had classes and/or workshops
-Level 2 for the more advanced students.
